Frequently Asked Questions
We will always be here to answer your questions.
Here are some of the ones we are most often asked:
How long has your company been in business?
Clarion Building Inspections is a limited corporation that has been in operation since 2009. In that time, we have completed approximately 4000 home and building inspections.
How much does a Home Inspection cost?
Home inspections in this part of the world will generally cost between $400 and $500. Additional cost for travel are also most often charged if one-way driving time is more than 30 - 45 minutes. As with most things in life, when it comes to home inspections, the expression "you get what you pay for" generally applies.
What type of payments do you accept?
We gladly accept credit cards, e-transfers, cheques, and cash payments.
Can I follow along?
Of Course! We always recommend that our clients meet us at the site for a summary at the end of their inspection. Clients will always be given a phone call after they have read their inspection reports to answer any questions and make sure they are crystal clear on the details.
How long does an inspection take?
The inspection of a typical home usually takes between 3 and 4 hours. Older or larger homes may take a while longer, while smaller or modular homes may take a bit less time.
What areas do you cover?
Clarion Building Inspections services the North Okanagan, Shuswap, and Columbia regions of BC. Some of the places we inspect include Salmon Arm, Vernon, Enderby, Armstrong, Sicamous, Sorrento, Blind Bay, Revelstoke, and the North Shore area of Shuswap lake.
